Hyundai Motor India Launches Diesel Model of the BS6 Version of the Grand i10 Nios in India

Hyundai Motor India has launched the diesel model of the BS6 Grand i10 Nios in the country. Prices start from Rs.6.75 lakh for the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios with the BS6 compliant diesel engine. The model will be available in three variants and shares the same engine from the Hyundai Aura. The hatchback draws power from a 1.2-litre diesel engine that produces a maximum power of 74hp and a peak torque of 190Nm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The vehicle is also available with the 5-speed AMT option as well. The BS6 Grand i10 Nios in diesel is available in Magna, Sportz and Asta variants. The vehicle gets several safety features such as dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, over-speed alert, etc. The Grand i10 Nios competes with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Swift in the Indian market.
Hyundai Launches BS6 Grand i10 in India

India’s second-largest car manufacturer Hyundai India has launched the BS6 variant of the Grand i10 at Rs.6.03 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). The new Grand i10 is offered in two variants. The hatchback draws its power from the 1.2-litre Kappa VTVT petrol unit which churns out 81bhp and 114Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Customers can also choose the CNG variant of the Grand i10. The new BS6 Grand i10 is available in Magna, Sportz and Magna CNG variants.
