Maruti Suzuki Celerio S-CNG BS6 Variant Launched Across India

The BS6 edition of Maruti Suzuki Celerio S-CNG has been launched with a price tag of ₹5.61 Lakh. It sports a K10B engine that can pump a peak torque of 68hp and 90Nm and 59hp and 78Nm for petrol and CNG modes respectively. This hatchback is slightly aesthetically enhanced and does not look much different than other generations from the outside. The inside of the car sports central locking, ABS, dual front airbags, power steering, child-lock on rear doors, etc. Being a Maruti Suzuki car, it will come in Arctic White, Silky Silver, Glistening Grey, Tango Orange, Torque Blue, and Blazing Red colour variants. The car also has a taxi variant called Tour H2 that can be used for commercial purposes, especially for owners of fleet cars. This variant can be placed after the LXI variant as a few features are missing, however, both variants do not have any aesthetic differences.

India’s largest car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. has launched the BS6 Celerio X in India with prices starting from Rs.4.90 lakh and goes up to Rs.5.67 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi) for the top of the line variant. The BS6 Maruti Celerio X is the sportier version of the Celerio hatchback targeted at younger buyers in the country. The BS6 Celerio X is powered by the 1.0-litre petrol engine, which is now BS6 compliant, producing 68PS and 90Nm of peak torque and comes paired to a 5-speed manual transmission or the AMT gearbox option. Compared to the BS4 Maruti Celerio X, the BS6 Celerio X is about Rs.15,000 expensive across all variants.

India’s leading car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki launched the BS6 Celerio X in India with prices starting at Rs.4.90 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). Compared to the BS4 Celerio X, the price of the BS6 compliant Celerio X is Rs.10,000. The company launched the BS6 Maruti Celerio a few weeks ago and the Celerio X shares the petrol engine with the Celerio. The new BS6 Celerio is powered by the 998cc three-cylinder engine which churns out 68PS and a peak torque of 90Nm. The engine comes mated either with a 5-speed manual gearbox or the AMT. The Celerio BS6 returns a mileage of 21.63kmpl as against 23.1kmpl from the BS4 model. The Maruti Celerio X’s safety features are similar to the outgoing BS4 model. It gets driver airbag, rear parking sensors, speed alert warning, ABS with EBD and seat belt reminder for the front occupants.
