Baisakhi: Baisakhi is a festival that is celebrated throughout Haryana. It is viewed as a new year celebration as per the traditional calendar. It is celebrated in April by offering prayers followed by a feast.

Gangore: People in Haryana worship Goddess Gauri during the Gangore festival. This is an annual festival held in March or April, where people carry the Gauri idols from village-to-village and then immerse it in a water body.

Lohri: Lohri is one of the prominent festivals celebrated in Haryana. This festival marks the end of the winter season. In Lohri, people create a bonfire, throw puffed rice and sweets in it, and pray, sing and dance around it.
