Ever wondered what made scientists discover anything that they did? It all starts simply with being curious. Your baby is naturally curious and wants to hold everything by now. Here is an activity that improves your baby's fine motor skills and also brushes his curiosity.

Steps:
1. Find different shapes of things round, square, long, etc.
2. Give each of the things in your baby's hands and let him hold it for a while.
3. Give a squeezing ball and let him squeeze it too.
Holding things teaches your baby a firm grip which helps in building stronger bones and develop the small muscles of the fingers. While on the other hand, looking at different shapes and sizes of objects sparks his curiosity.
