Team AckoFeb 8, 2024
At this stage, a ball is your child’s favorite toy. Your child will be all the more excited to indulge in this activity as you can introduce him to bowling. This activity teaches how to make bowling pins with plastic bottles.
Contents
Requisites: 10 Plastic Bottles, Glue, Art and craft stuff, Small stones or sand
Steps:
1. Fill the bottles with small stones or sand. This will give the bottles some weight.
2. Alternatively, fill the bottles with colored water. Let the child be creative and decorate the bottles.
3. Arrange the bottles in a bowling formation and your child will have his own bowling alley at home.
4. This activity will develop creative skills and develop hand-eye coordination and gross motor skills in your little one
The game can double up as a ‘learn while you have fun’ session if you add an element of numeracy to the activity. For example, ask your child to count how many pins have fallen or still standing, or ask him to knock down pins equal to a certain figure.
