Your toddler is way past the incoherent babbling stage and now his speech skills are shaping up. Be clear and crisp while giving any instructions to your child and slowly teach your child to speak in simple, complete sentences.
Do not laugh at any mistakes your child may make, no matter how absurd it may be, as this will hamper their confidence. Give them time and let them form sentences at their own pace.
Your child will learn to speak with time and it will demand a lot of effort and patience from your end to support him on this journey. During this time when your child tries to speak certain words in his own tune, encourage him to repeat after you in a slow and gradual manner. This will slowly inculcate the habit of practicing to speak in a rhythm and at a proper pace.
All this time, it is important to understand that he will make ample mistakes while uttering words. Also, forming whole sentences will be a problem initially. It is important that you support your child and assist him in pronouncing words the right way. Repeating with him and encouraging him to follow your lead will do the work.
