Team AckoFeb 8, 2024
Apart from being physically healthy, at this stage, your child needs to be emotionally healthy too. Being emotionally aware means he should be sensitive to the feelings of others around him and treat them accordingly. Your kid may not be aware of this, so you need to start by gently pointing out how other people feel in various situations.
Contents
Help your kid grow into a kind person. Make him understand the emotions of other people if they are sad or in pain or trouble, so that he can reciprocate in order to help and comfort them. For example, if his friend has lost his favorite ball, you can tell him, “Rohan seems unhappy because he lost his ball, doesn’t he? How about sharing your ball with him for a while so he feels better?”
You also need to teach your kid that other people can be affected not only by actions, but also through speech. So he needs to watch his words and speak in a gentle and kind tone.
