This porridge offers the nutritional benefits of sweet potato, carrot and rava. Sweet potatoes are rich in phosphorus, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B1, niacin, dietary fibre, potassium, Vitamin B6, pantothenic acid, copper, manganese and Vitamin C. Whereas, carrots offer potassium, Vitamin K, Vitamin C, Vitamin A, dietary fibre, manganese, folate, Vitamin B6, niacin and thiamine. Rava has high content of potassium, protein, dietary fibre, carbohydrate, iron and Vitamin B6.

Ingredients: ½ sweet potato, 1 carrot, 2 tbsp. rava, 1 tsp. jaggery, ½ tsp. ghee, ½ tsp. water.
Steps:
1. Cook the sweet potato and carrot in a pressure cooker till they are soft and tender.
2. On cooling, blend into a smooth puree and set aside.
3. Roast rava in a pan till it changes colour. Add the jaggery and the puree along with water and mix.
4. Let the mixture simmer for about 2 minutes and remove from the flame when it starts to thicken.
