A twist to the regular sandwich is Bhujia Toast. Bhujia is a crisp namkeen, which is made using moth beans and gram flour. They are readily available in any grocery store. This recipe is a quick and easy snack preparation where bhujia combined with veggies is spread on the bread slice and grilled. This carbohydrate rich snack is flavoured with mild spices and herbs and tastes superb!

6 bread slices, 1 cup bhujia, 2 onions, 1 tomato, 1 green chili, ¼ cup coriander leaves, chili powder, and black salt to taste, butter as required, 5-7 mint leaves, lemon juice to taste
1. Finely chop the green chiles, coriander leaves, onions, and tomato.
2. Take 2 bread slices. Apply butter on one side of the bread slices.
3. In a mixing bowl, add all the chopped ingredients along with the spices and lemon juice. Give a good mix.
4. Spread some mixture on one bread slice and top it with the other slice.
5. Using a sandwich griller, grill the bhujia toast till crisp and golden brown.
Serve with ketchup.
