Mysore Bondas are deep fried snack, which are crispy from outside and fluffy inside. They make a delightful treat for any party and a perfect evening snack. It is a good way to include wheat flour in your diet. It is the best source of carbohydrate, improves digestion, and rich in vitamins A and minerals.

1 cup wheat flour, ¼ cup rice flour, ½ tsp baking soda, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp plain yogurt, 3-4 tbsp water, ½ tsp jeera, 1 tbsp onions, ½ tsp giner, 2 tbsp coriander leaves, oil for deep frying
1. Add both the flours, salt, soda and jeera in a bowl.
2. Add chopped onions, corianders and ginger.
3. Now add curd and 3 tbsps water, mix it well to make a thick batter. Add more water or curd if it is required.
4. Heat oil in a pan. Once it becomes hot then shape 1 tbsps of batter in between your fingers.
5. Drop them in oil. Keep the flame to medoim and keep stirring to cook evenly. These bondas will take some time to fry well and get cooked inside. Fry them till they become golden and crisp.
Serve Mysore Bondas with sambar or coconut chutney.
