This Nadia Bara recipe is not only tasty, but it is also full of valuable nutrients like protein, carbohydrates, and potassium.

1 cup channa dal soaked overnight, 1/3 cup fresh coconut pieces, 1-inch piece ginger grated, 1/3 teaspoon roasted cumin powder, 1/3 teaspoon baking powder, salt to taste, oil for frying
1. Grind chana dal, coconut pieces and a little water into a coarse paste.
2. Add ginger, cumin powder and salt to form a thick batter.
3. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil. Deep fry till golden on all sides. Serve hot.
