Sindhi Vegetable Kadi is prepared in yogurt gravy and it has a delicious taste with richness of vegetables that your kids will easily eat. Sindhi kadi is very popular cuisine of Sindhis and is known for its tangy and spicy flavor.

    Ingredients to make Sindhi Vegetable Kadi:

    2 cups of sour yogurt, some oil for cooking, 1 tbs chickpea flour, 1 tbsp semolina, 1 tsp ginger and garlic paste, 1 cubed and parboiled potato, parboiled carrot pieces, parboiled handful of peas, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp salt or as per your taste, chopped coriander leaves, 1tsp fenugreek seeds, 1 tsp mustard seeds, some curry leaves, dry red chilli, 1 sliced garlic and a pinch of hing

    Steps to make Sindhi Kadi:

    1. Blend yogurt with semolina, besan, and little water to make flowing consistency batter.

    2. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger and garlic paste. Mix well.

    3. Heat some oil in a pan and let it splutter. Now add fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, hing, garlic and dry red chilli to it. Let them roast a bit on low flame.

    4. Now pour the yogurt mixture gently and bring it to a boil while stirring it continuously.

    Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or paranthas.
