This crispy Indo-Chinese toast with twist is a perfect to treat for your child's tongue and add vitamins to his diet. Veggies tossed in soy sauce and spread over crispy bread is perfect for an evening treat/party.

Ingredients to make Toast with Twist:

4-5 bread slices - chopped, 1 chopped onion, carrots julienne, 1 boiled potato, 1 capsicum diced, 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste, sesame seeds, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 3 tbsp oil, salt, sugar, 2 tbsp tomato ketchup, spring onion greens for garnishing.

Steps to make Toast with Twist:

1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and fry the chopped bread cubes till it turns golden. Remove to a plate and set aside.

2. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan and add ginger garlic and fry. Add onions and saute it for a minute.

3. Add carrots and capsicum and saute them for 1-2 minutes. Add tomato ketchup, soy sauce, 1 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp sugar and stir well. Pour half cup of water and bring to a boil.

4. Add mashed potato and mix well. Cook for 1-2 minutes and turn off the flame.

5. Spread the veggie mixture over fried bread toast. Garnish it with sesame seeds and spring onion greens.

Serve along with tomato ketchup. The crispy bread and chinese veggies will tempt your child for another slice.
