A report on vehicle theft in India

Vehicle thefts in India more than doubled last year. 

In September 2022, we launched the first edition of Theft & City where we sat down & analyzed data at ACKO to discover the most theft prone cities and areas in India during for 2022. We found out, for example, that white cars were more susceptible to theft than other colours. 

This year, we’ve doubled down on our data to deliver more insights on vehicle thefts, which have only increased drastically as thieves get more tech savvy and notorious. We’ve dug deep to understand the reasons behind vehicle thefts, as well as the vehicles that are most likely to be stolen.
