Check Vehicle Information via the ACKO Website

• Visit the ACKO website and click on the “Check vehicle details” option available on the homepage.
• Enter the vehicle registration number.
• Continue by providing your mobile number.
• You will then be redirected to the ACKO app, where detailed vehicle information can be viewed.

Get Vehicle Details by Number Plate via the ACKO App

• Download and install the ACKO app on your smartphone.
• Sign in using your mobile number or email address.
• Navigate to the ‘Discover’ section.
• Select the ‘Get vehicle info’ option.
• Enter the vehicle registration number.
• The app will display the available vehicle and owner details.

Check Vehicle Owner Details by Number Plate via Parivahan Website

• Visit the official Parivahan Sewa website or the VAHAN National Register e-Services portal.
• On the homepage, go to “Informational Services” and select “Know Your Vehicle Details”.
• Log in using your mobile number and OTP verification. New users may need to register first.
• Enter the complete vehicle registration number (for example, MP01AB1234) along with the captcha code.
• Click on “Search Vehicle” to access details such as partial owner name, registration date, fuel type, vehicle category, RC validity, insurance validity, and fitness certificate details.

Check RTO Number Check Via mParivahan Mobile App

• Install the NextGen mParivahan app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
• Log in using your mobile number and OTP.
• Select the RC tab on the home screen and enter the vehicle registration number (e.g., MP01XX0000).
• The app will display information including:
  • Owner’s name (partially masked)
  • Registering authority and RTO location
  • Vehicle make, model, and category
  • Registration and fitness validity
  • Insurance and Pollution Under Control (PUC) status

Know Your Vehicle Details via SMS Service

• Open the SMS application on your mobile phone.
• Type: VAHAN <space> Vehicle Registration Number (e.g., VAHAN MP01AB1234).
• Send the message to 7738299899.
• You will receive details such as:
  • Vehicle owner’s name
  • Vehicle make and model
  • Registration date and RTO details
  • RC expiry date and insurance status

How to Check Vehicle Owner Information in Madhya Pradesh from the IIB Portal

Although in the past it was possible to get owner information through the IIB website, now this facility is not available anymore. In such a case, you could instead browse websites like ACKO or Parivahan Sewa to obtain vehicle details.
