There is a three-litre petrol tank to drive the range extender.

What makes this electric scooter different is that it features KYMCO's swappable IONEX battery system, which means that you don't have to wait for a few hours to charge your battery before you set off again. You can dive up to one of 22Kymco's battery stations, swap your drained battery for a charged one, and set off.

What we know so far:

  • Expected Price: Rs 90,000 - 92,000

  • Expected Launch Date: December 2023

  • Electric Motor: 21 kW PMAC Motor

  • Top Speed: 60 kmph

The X-Town 330i is 22Kymco's flagship product for the Indian market, and they have gone all out with this one. It will be equipped with twin headlamps, an LED tail lamp, and turn indicators that are flush with the front apron. It will also have a large single-piece seat with a step-up for support and better visibility for the pillion. Up front, it will have 37mm telescopic forks, while the rear is handled by a twin shock absorber setup. The scooter will have disc brakes all around and dual-channel ABS.

What we know so far:

This radical-looking scooter from TVS will most likely share the same platform as the TVS Ntorq. If TVS has decided to use the same power train as it did with the concept, this scooter could have a power output of around 16 PS, which will be able to propel it to the 60 km mark in 5.1 seconds and would most likely have a range of about 80 km.

Dual-channel ABS is standard on the scooter, as one would expect from a premium maxi-scooter. Range should not be a problem either as it is equipped with a 15-litre fuel tank.  The premium scooter is going to be featured-packed, including a full-colour 7-inch TFT display, two riding modes (Sport and Eco) and a traction control system.

Suzuki is all set to enter the two-wheeler electric scooter market with the electric version of the petrol-powered Burgman Street. The Burgman electric scooter is expected look exactly like its ICE counterparts, with the exception of a new colour scheme not seen on the petrol models to date.  No technical specifications have been released yet, but it is expected to rival the likes of the TVS iCube and the Bajaj Chetak. Since it is visually similar to the Burgman, we can expect to see a telescopic fork and a disc brake upfront.

  • Expected Launch Date: January 2023
