The Virtus and Slavia scored a 5-star rating in the adult and child occupant categories, with an impressive score of 29.71 and 42 points, respectively, making them the most safest car in India.
The VW Virtus has advanced safety features, including 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), park distance control, rear-view camera, Hill Hold Assist, Multi-collision brakes, and more.
At the same time, the Skoda Slavia also boasts similar features as the Virtus.

The Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun are sister models sharing most of the components.
The SUVs sit in the competitive mid-size segment and compete with some of the most established models.

The Kushaq and Taigun scored a 5-star rating in both the adult and child occupant categories, with an impressive score of 29.64 and 42, respectively, making them one of the top safety cars in India.
The VW Taigun is equipped with advanced safety features, including six airbags, multi-collision braking, a hill hold assist, and more.
At the same time, the Skoda Kushaq also boasts safety features, such as six airbags, rollover protection, and more.

The Mahindra Scorpio-N is the modern avatar of the iconic SUV that has been in the Indian market for almost 20 years.
The new variant comes with a fresh outlook, new features and enhanced safety equipment.
The Global NCAP recently tested the SUV under the new test protocols, and it came out with flying colours by scoring an impressive 5-star safety rating in the AOP category, making it the best safety car in India.
The Scorpio-N scored 29.25 points out of the maximum 34 points in the AOP category.
The SUV earned a 3-star rating in the COP category by scoring 28.93 points out of a total of 49 points.
The standard safety equipment of the Mahindra Scorpio-N includes dual front airbags, ABS, EBD and ISOFIX child seat mounts.

The Tata Punch is an entry-level SUV from Tata Motors.
It is popularly categorised as a micro-SUV segment. The vehicle competes in the premium hatchback segment, however, with an SUV appeal.
Tata Motors has ensured that even the tiny Punch meets higher safety standards.
The Tata Punch is new to the list of safest cars in India; with a 5-star rating in the AOP category, it scored an impressive 16.45 out of the maximum 17 points.
The vehicle also impressed in the COP category with a 4-star rating of 40.89 out of the maximum 49 points, making it one of the best 5 star safety rating cars in India.
The Tata Punch comes fitted with two airbags, 4-channel ABS, ISOFIX anchorage for child occupant protection, etc.

The Mahindra XUV300 is the first vehicle from the Mahindra to receive a 5-star rating from GNCAP.
The compact SUV comes loaded with safety features, including six airbags in the top variant.
The XUV300 received a 5-star rating in the AOP category with a score of 16.42 out of the maximum 17 points.
The vehicle scored a 4-star rating in the COP category with 37.44 out of the maximum 49 points, The XUV300 is arguably the best among the Global NCAP rating of Indian cars.
