A Road Ambulance coverage will bear all the reasonable expenses made towards the ambulance service availed by you for travelling to the hospital or daycare centre. However, there are the following terms and conditions for Road Ambulance coverage in health insurance. 

  • Covers online emergency ambulance services

  • Ambulance trip to a hospital is only included (Unless the transportation is needed or pre-approved by the insurer, the provider is not liable to bear the ambulance trips from the hospital to the insured residence)

  • Approved inpatient hospitalisation claim

  • Prescribed in writing by a doctor

  • Coverage up to the limit 

  • Not be able to use any other mode of transport
