You will end up paying Rs. 1000 in case you are found driving without a seatbelt in UP.

If you don't pay your e challan on time, it may escalate into a legal issue, with potential penalties including fines or court summons.

Traffic police can fine once in a day for an offence. If the second time in a day when traffic police stops you, if it's for another offence then you will have to pay the fine for the offence.

If you have been issued an e-challan for any traffic violation, you must pay the applicable penalty within 60 days from the date of issuance.
