Those driving without licence in Uttarakhand will have to shell out Rs. 2,500.

People 16 years and above can get a licence for vehicles with maximum 50 CC engine capacity. For vehicles or motorcycles with gear, the age limit is 18 years and above. Aged 20 years and above can get a licence for heavy motor vehicles.

All the two-wheeler owners in Uttarakhand are required to pay an annual tax of Rs. 200. The road tax is applicable to vehicles registered in other states, with exceptions for those owned by the Central Government and the Armed Forces.

From the date of issuance, an e-challan must be paid within a period of 60 days.
