Pre Inspection Slot Confirmation – Terms and Conditions

The acceptance of these “Terms & Conditions,” by the customer is a requirement for booking a pre- inspection (PI) slot for your motor vehicle by Acko General Insurance Limited (“Acko”).

By booking a PI slot and receiving the PI services for your motor vehicle, you agree that you have read and understood these T&Cs and you agree to be bound by these T&Cs.

A refundable convenience fee of INR 250 (“convenience fee”) is chargeable by Acko to confirm the pre- inspection slot.

The convenience fee has to be paid by the customer on the link shared by Acko by e-mail after the pre-inspection scheduling call.

In case the convenience fee is not received by Acko, the PI slot will automatically stand cancelled.

If the PI is successfully conducted by Acko personnel in the scheduled slot, Acko shall provide a full refund of the convenience fee to the customer after successful completion of PI.

A customer will be allowed up to three rescheduling of the PI slot. In the event of any (a) further rescheduling by the customer or (b) cancellation of the PI slot by the customer, the entire convenience fee will be forfeited. In all such cases, the customer shall have to initiate the process of payment again for booking a PI slot.

If the customer is not present during the booked PI slot, there will be a maximum of 3 (three) further attempts by Acko personnel to conduct the inspection at the scheduled premises/address provided by the customer, after which the PI slot will automatically be cancelled. Acko shall forfeit the money in all such cases of automatic cancellation. To schedule a slot with Acko again, the customer will have to register for PI on the website. Once the registration process is complete, the customer shall receive the link for payment.

After successful completion of PI (subject only upto three attempts and rescheduling), the refund will be initiated which will be reflected in 3 to 7(three to seven) working days.

Acko shall not be liable for any delay in payment and/or refund of the convenience fee due to any situation beyond its control including any situation attributable to the banking machinery and payment gateways.

Acko shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expense, cost, taxes of any nature arising due to payment and/or refund of the convenience fee and/or booking of the PI slot.

Acko reserves the right to change, modify, withdraw, terminate these terms and conditions at its sole discretion.

The courts in Bangalore shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all matters arising out of these terms and conditions.

The issuance of policy will be at the discretion of Acko subject to results of pre inspection conducted.
