How to Change Your Address in DL Online

Here are the steps to change your address in DL online.

Step 1: Go to the official Parivahan Sewa website.

Step 2: Select 'Driving Licence Related Services' from the 'Online Services’ options.

Step 3: Choose your state from the drop-down menu.

Step 4: Click on the 'Apply for Change of Address' icon.

Step 5: Press the 'Continue' button.

Step 6: Enter your 'Driving Licence Number' and 'Date of Birth.'

Step 7: Click on 'Get DL Details.'

Step 9: Select the relevant 'RTO.'

Step 10: Click on 'Proceed.'

Step 11: Enter all the required information.

Step 12: Tick the box next to 'Change of address on DL.'

Step 13: Choose one option from 'Permanent,' 'Present,' or 'Both,' depending on your requirement, and fill in the necessary details.

Step 14: Click on 'Confirm' and 'Submit.'

Step 15: Make the payment for the processing fee.

How to Change Your Address in DL Offline

Here are steps to change the address in your Driving Licence offline.

Step 1: Initially, acquire a No Objection Certificate and Clearance Certificate from the Regional Transport Office (RTO), ensuring that the RTO is the same as the one where your original Driving Licence was issued.

Step 2: Draft an application to the RTO indicating the change of address on your Driving Licence.

Step 3: Visit the Regional Transport Office with your application and supporting documents to submit them. Additionally, make the necessary payment for the processing fees.
