Your child should be taught about the items in and around his surroundings. Your child should have a good idea about the household items. You can help your child learn by performing an easy task.
Requisites: Small paper slips and tape.
Steps:
1. You need to name every item and area in the house so that your child can read and memorize.
2. Write down the name on the slip and fix it on that item. For example- door, refrigerator, TV etc.
3. Every evening you can take off the slips and ask your child to name those items without any assistance.
This activity can be practiced to make your child learn about variety of things. When your child performs well offer him a chocolate or candy. Be there to assist your child when he is unable to read or understand.
