At this stage, your little one is learning many new skills. Although all babies develop at different speeds, but there are some key milestones that every baby should accomplish during these early months. Your sweetie pie is 2 months old, and now your child might push up on his arms, while lying on his tummy and also might lift and hold his head up, turn from side to back, for a little time period.

    What you need to know:

At this point, you will notice that your little one might be able to move his fists from closed to open and also be able to bring his hands to his mouth. He might able to move his legs and arms off the surface, when excited. It is a great way to understand that your sweetie pie is developing his gross motor skills. It is also a positive sign that his neck and back muscles are getting stronger and that he is on the right path of better physical development.

However, at this age, baby might start to seem much taller and thinner. This is because his bones and muscles are growing and his limbs are loosening up. Try to give him lots of tummy time. Every time he lifts his head, even if it is just for a few seconds, he is strengthening his neck muscles. But, if your child finds it difficult in lifting his head, stiff his legs with little or no movement of legs. And also, if he keeps his hands fisted and you feel that there is lack of arm movement or pushes back with his head while even lying on his back. These might be warning signs or signs of developmental issues. In this case you need to consult your doctor or any child expert and seek his advice.
