With your 2-3 year old, the simpler and more wonky the craft, the better. And paper plates are a great way to get your child to make some really simple crafty stuff. Guide your child in making a paper plate sun.
Requisites: 1 paper plate, 2 googly craft eyes, red and orange construction paper, yellow paint, crayons or pencils, black marker pen, safety scissors and glue.
Steps:
1. With the help of yellow paint, get your child to colour the paper plate yellow.
2. After the paint is dry, stick eyes onto the sun's face, draw a mouth, a nose and rosy cheeks. You can show it to your child by drawing on a paper. Once drawn on the paper, get your child to draw it on the paper plate.
3. With the help of a safety scissors, get your child to cut thin, long rectangular strips of red and orange paper to make the sun's rays. This step needs adult supervision. If he is unable to do so, get the strips ready for him. You can talk about shapes too.
4. Assist your child while he glues the sun rays around the backside edge of the paper plate.
Your paper plate sun is ready! Hang this creative paper plate sun in your toddler's room!
Your child's all-round development combines formal education and creative activities. Mosaic art, for instance, develops hand-eye coordination and boosts confidence, which are the precursors to intellectual and emotional development.
Just as nurturing your child’s growth requires attention, securing the future involves proactive financial planning. Term insurance will provide your loved ones with financial protection for unforeseen emergencies. Considering the rising living costs, choosing a 1 crore term insurance plan will ensure sound protection.
When deciding on a life insurance plan, use a term insurance calculator to estimate the right coverage and premiums and always choose a plan that guarantees long-term financial security.
