At this age your child have developed many skills. You can test your kid’s fine motor skills through this fun task. This simple activity will enhance his motor skills. Place different items such as a

Requisites: A plastic tong, and different items like: beads, crayons, erasers, cubes etc.

Steps:

1. Ask your child to pick up each item present in one tray and transfer it to the other tray.

2. He has to use the tong to pick the different items.

3. You need to set a timer to make the task more interesting.

4. Motivate your kid during this task to raise his confidence.

You can even compete with ypur child in this activity. Avoid placing slippery items in this task. Give a demo before you ask your kid to perform it.

Note: Make sure your child knows how to handle a tong. Pick a tong which offers an easy grip for your kid.
