You want your child to live an active healthy life. Play is very important as it teaches him to be  disciplined, build social skills and fitness habits. His stamina to meet the various challenges during play is improving and developing and it becomes all the more critical. 



    Involving him in any organized sports, walking, running, swimming along with right nutrition will contribute to his physical well- being, growth and development

    What you need to know

    Plan his routine in such a way that once homework is done, he gets the opportunity to play outdoor games and enjoy playtime. This way he also develops self-discipline.

    Help your child build his stamina. A well balanced diet which includes right healthy food choices is critical. Include bananas, low-fat dairy, whole-grains, plenty of fruits and vegetables and iron-rich foods in his diet. Junk food should be eliminated.

    Limit TV time and use free time in activities that will get him to be active. For instance, enrol him in sports like football, basketball and cheer him as he plays.
