Cook up a delicious and nourishing meal by preparing Methi Khichdi. This dish is made using methi leaves and moong dal, both high in terms of nutritional value. Methi leaves offer dietary fiber, protein, Vitamin B6, copper, manganese, magnesium, and iron. Moong dal is a rich source of B-vitamins, protein, dietary fiber, zinc, copper, folate, magnesium, potassium, manganese, etc.

Ingredients to make Methi Rice:
2 tbsp. rice, 1 tbsp moong dal, 1 cup water, methi leaves, ¼ tsp cumin, ghee, pinch of cumin powder.
Steps to make Methi Rice:
1. Soak the rice and dal for at least an hour.
2. Later, put the rice and dal into a cooker along with cumin and cook on a low flame.
3. Chop the methi leaves and add it to the cooker. Add salt and cook till you get one whistle.
4. Remove the lid and mash the contents. Add the remaining ingredients, mix and simmer for a while.
Methi Khichdi is ready to serve.
