Mangoes are an excellent source of dietary fiber and vitamin B6, as well as a good source of vitamin A and vitamin C. They are rich in minerals like potassium, magnesium, and copper. This is a dish inspired from the nutritional benifits of mangoes.

Rice (cooked)-½ cup, mango- ½ cup, milk powder- 2 spoons, almonds-few, rose petals-few, water-as required
1. Wash and cook the rice.
2. Peel the mango and cut into large pieces. Puree it in a blender.
3. Soak almonds overnight. Remove the peel and make a fine paste in a blender.
4. Dissolve the milk powder in a glass of warm water and keep aside.
5. Add oil,mango puree and the almond to the cooked rice. Cook on low flame for 4-5 minutes.
6. You can add water to get desired consistency of the sweet. It should look like a halwa.
7. Use rose petals as a garnish if desired.
Serve hot as a yummy snack.
