Besan ka Cheela

Besan Chilla, also known as vegetarian omlette, is a very nutritious and delicious dish. Children love it for its sour and savoury taste that it gives and by adding some egetable you can simply make it more amazing. You just need to mix all the ingredients and make it. So its easy to make and helpful for all mothers who are forever running out of time.



    Ingredients to Besan ka Cheela:

    1 cup - Besan, 1 medium size - onion - finely chopped, a pinch of tumeric and jeera, 7-8 leaves - coriander, salt - as per taste, oil - as required, water - to mix the ingredients

    Steps to make Besan ka Cheela:

    1. Take besan and other ingredients(except oil and water) in a mixing bowl and mix them properly.

    2. Now add some water and check the consistency of the batter, it should not very thick nor runny. Avoid any lumps and mix it continuously.

    3. Now Heat a non stick tawa, once it is relatively hot pour some batter and spread it with a help of round spoon and drizzle some oil.

    4. Let it roast on medium flame for sometime and turn around and repeat the process.

    Once both sides have been roasted, your cheela is ready to be served.
