This is a popular dish of Jammu and Kashmir that is made from flour and spices. It is a yummy snack dish that is loved by the kids for its good taste. It is loaded with protein and healthy carbs.



    Ingredients to make Gheur:

    1 cup maida, 1 cup peas, half a cup of coriander leaves, 1 tsp of ajwain seeds, salt as per the taste and some oil for frying.

    Steps to make Gheur:

    1. Take 1 cup maida in a bowl and add some water slowly and slowly to make a lump free batter of smooth consistency. Now keep it aside and allow it to rest for an hour.

    2. Add peas, salt, coriander leaves, ajwain seeds, and mix well.

    3. Heat some oil in a frying pan and allow it to heat up.

    4. Now gently, pour the batter on the frying pan and cover the entire area pf the pan.

    5. Let it cook on a medium heat for some time till it turns crisp. Now remove it from the pan with the help of a thin ladle.

    6. This dish is cooked only from one side.

    Serve this yummy dish with potato curry or green mint chutney.
