Step up the taste of your biriyani with delicious aloo raita. Usually, green raita or mixed veg raita is served with biriyani. However, you can amp up the nutritional value of the food you are serving with this delicious and healthy raita. Aloo raita is made using potatoes, which are rich sources of carbohydrates, Vitamin C, iron, calcium, Vitamin B6, magnesium, dietary fibre and potassium.

Ingredients: 1 cup curd, 2 medium potatoes chopped, ½ tsp roasted cumin powder, ¼ tsp red chilli powder, ½ tsp chaat masala, 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves, ½ tsp chopped mint leaves and salt.
Steps:
1. Cook the potatoes in a pressure cooker till they are soft.
2. In a bowl, whisk the curd using a wired blender till it is smooth and consistent.
3. Add the boiled potatoes and mix well.
4. Next add the spice powders , salt, chopped coriander and mint leaves.
Your aloo raita is ready. So treat this delicious variation of raita today!
