Blueberries are an excellent source of vital vitamins and minerals like vitamin C, K, and manganese. Along with raisins, which have valuable carbohydrates and fibre, you can prepare a yummy Blueberry Raisins Jam. Flavour this jam with lemon juice and sugar, and you get a yummy spread for breads.

6 cups blueberries, 4 cups raisins, 3 cups sugar, ¼ cup lemon juice, 8 to 10 tsp pectin
1. In a blender, blend the raisins and lemon juice. Remove and transfer in a vessel.
2. Blend the blueberries to a puree and add to the raisins vessel.
3. Add pectin to the above mixture and stir to a boil.
4. Add sugar and keep stirring till it gets dissolved well.
5. As them mixture turns thick, switch off the flame
6. Store the Blueberry Raisins Jam in hot sterilized jars.
Enjoy this tasty spread with any variety of bread.
