Boondi is a super easy and quick-to-make dessert recipe. The main ingredients used to prepare this recipe are besan, green cardamom, ghee and sugar. The sweet boondi will be loved by your child.

Ingredients to make Boondi:

1 cup besan, 3 cup sugar, 1 tbsp cardamom powder, oil or ghee to fry

Steps to make Boondi:

1. Sieve the besan in a deep bowl. Make a batter using water. Whisk it properly to avoid formation of lumps.

2. Prepare sugar syrup by cooking sugar with 1.5 cup of water. The syrup should be of one string consistency.

3. Heat ghee in a skillet. Hold perforated spoon a little above the skillet and drop 2-3 spoon of batter over it. The small besan boondi will drop down in skillet.

4. Fry and take them out of skillet and drop them in sugar syrup. Take out the sugar coated boondis from syrup.

Sweet Boondi is ready to serve.
