Chenna Jhilli is a sweet dish, which is rich in protein that helps to have strong bones.

1 cup fresh chenna, 2 tbsp wheat flour, 2 tbsp sugar,1 cup for syrup, 1 tsp baking soda, a pinch of salt, oil/ghee for deep frying, 1 cup water, 1 tsp elaichi powder for syrup
1. In a bowl mix chhena, wheat flour, baking soda, 2 tbsp sugar, salt, and a pinch of elaichi powder, and make a soft dough out of it.
2. After 10 minutes make small balls out of this and flatten them into thick patties.
3. Deep fry these patties till golden brown in medium heat.
4. Make sugar syrup, add the fried patties into it, boil them 3 minutes.
Chhena Jhilli ready to serve hot /cold with some dry-fruits and elaichi powder as garnishing.
