This mouth-watering Pala Chhatu Bara is very nutritious and healthy as mushroom is high in water content and a good source of iron, fiber, and selenium. It can be served as a starter or evening snack and will surely be loved by your child.

Contents
1 packet mushroom, 1 small onion, 1 tbsp cumin seeds, 1 tbsp cilantro, 4 tbsp rice, 4 tbsp chana dal, 1 tbsp jeera, 2 red chilies, 2 tablespoon mustard oil, and salt to taste
1. Chop the onions into small pieces. Finely chop the cilantro. Cut the mushrooms into small pieces
2. Soak the chana dal and rice together for 3-4 hours.
3. Grind the soaked dal and rice and make a fine paste.
4. Mix chopped onion, cilantro, cumin seeds, mushroom, and salt together in the above paste.
5. Heat mustard oil in a pan and make small round shaped baras and shallow fry them.
Serve it hot as a side dish with tomato ketchup.
