Chickpeas Biryani is a filling dish, which you can prepare over a weekend and feed a wholesome meal to everyone. Chickpeas are an excellent source of protein. Since it gets very soft when cooked, it is an ideal finger food for your baby.Let’s look at the ingredients needed for the biryani

Contents
1 cup chickpeas soaked previous night, 1 cup basmati rice, 1 onion, 1 tomato, few saffron strands, 1 teaspoon lime juice, mint leaves for garnish, salt
Black cardamom, green Cardamom, cloves, cinnamon stick, ginger, garlic, coriander leaves
Steps for making Chickpeas Biryani:
1. Cook the soaked chickpeas for 2 or 3 whistles in pressure cooker.
2. In a pan, add the items mentioned under ' for seasoning' and wait till they crackle. Add the onions and stir well. Add the tomatoes. Stir well. Switch off the stove.
3. In a pressure cooker , add basmati rice and the cooked chickpeas. Add 2 cups of water.
4. Add the gravy.
5. Pressure cook for 2 whistles.
Healthy Chickpeas Biryani is ready.
