This is an amazing side-dish that will give a good taste when you do not want to prepare sambhar with a South-Indian dish. It is delicately flavored with coconut and spices that is yummy in taste and you would love it for sure.

1 cup grated coconut, 1 tsp oil, ½ cup chopped onions, 2 cardamoms, 2 cloves, 1 stick cinammon, 1 green chili, salt to taste, 1 tsp cornflour, 1½ cup boiled mixed vegetables, water as required.
1. Take a non-stick pan and add oil to it. When oil turns hot then add chopped onions to it and saute for few minutes.
2. Add cardamom and cinnamon to this oil and saute for few seconds.
3. Now add grated coconut along with green chilli and salt. Cook on medium flame for a minute.
4. Add cornflour with little water to this mixture along with mix vegetables and cook on medium flame for 2-3 minutes.
Serve it hot with appam.
