"Pudina or mint is a commonly used herb in salads, chutneys and several other dishes. Mint is extremely good for health as it is aids in digestion and is a wonderful mouth freshener. Pudine ke namak paare is a common North Indian snack which not only offers the goodness of mint, but is sure to drive away your snack time blues.

Ingredients: 2 ½ cups of maida, half a teaspoon of kasuri methi, 2 teaspoons of dried mint leaves, 2 teaspoons of ajwain, chilli flakes (as per taste), warm water, salt (as per taste) and oil for deep frying.
Steps:
1. Mix all ingredients and prepare firm dough. Do not knead it too much.
2. Roll out small balls, roll out and cut them into a shape you like.
3. Heat oil to a medium temperature and drop in the cut dough.
4. Deep fry and scoop out.
