Try out this healthy recipe of drumsticks. Drumsticks are a good source of many vital B-complex vitamins, such as folates, vitamin-B6 (pyridoxine), thiamin (vitamin B-1), riboflavin, pantothenic acid, niacin, and other nutrients like protein, folic acid, carbs, and fibre.

3½ cups drumstick leaves (washed and drained), ½ cup chopped onions, 1 tbsp oil, ½ tsp mustard seeds, 1/4 cup grated coconut, 1/4 tsp crushed cumin seeds, ½ tsp chili powder, 1/8 tsp turmeric powder, 2 tsp crushed garlic, and salt to taste
1. Make a powder by adding grated coconut, cumin seeds, chilli powder, turmeric powder, garlic and salt. Mix it well and keep aside.
2. In a wok, heat oil and add mustard seeds. Let it crackle.
3. Add the onions and fry it on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
4. Then add the drumstick leaves and salt. Saute it on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
5. Add ¼ cup of water, mix well and cover it with a lid. Let it cook on a medium flame for 7-8 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
6. Add the prepared powder and mix well and cook on a medium flame for 3 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
Serve hot with phulkas.
