Fish Curry

This is a healthy dish prepared with coconut milk filled with a lot of protein for your little one.

Ingredients to make Fish Curry:

1 cup coconut milk, 1 tsp red chili powder, salt as per taste, water as required

For tempering:

2 tsp oil, 10 curry leaves, 1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds

To marinate:

3 fish fillets, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp oil, ½ tsp cumin seeds, ½ tsp coriander seeds, 1 small piece ginger, 3 cloves garlic, 1 green chili, 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped tomato, 1 tbsp grated coconut

Steps to make Fish Curry:

1. Peel onion and garlic, roughly chop ginger and tomatoes and slit the chilies. Heat 1 tsp of oil and add in cumin and coriander seeds.

2. Add green chilli, ginger and garlic and roast them till they turn brown and then add onion to fry them.

3. Add in the tomatoes and fry this mixture well. Add grated coconut as well and mix well.

4. Take this mixture off the flame and then let it cool down.

5. Grind this mixture in blender. Keep it aside.

6. Marinate the fish pieces with salt and turmeric powder after washing them well with water.

7. Heat some oil in a pan and then add the spices along with the fine paste. Add red chilli powder and salt.

8. Mix it well and add water if needed. Let the curry boil for 5 minutes and then add marinated fish pieces to it.

Also add coconut milk and let the curry become thick. Switch off the flame and let your little one savor the flavour of this curry.
