Gobi-manchurian, a lip-smacking appetizer that you can easily make at home and win over everyone's heart. Cauliflower provides high level of vitamins and minerals.

1 medium-sized cauliflower florets, ½ cup maida, 2 tbsp corn flour, 1 tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp coarse pepper, salt as needed, oil for deep frying, 1 tbsp ginger garlic chopped, 1 green chilli chopped, 1 small capsicum chopped, 1 tbsp soya sauce, 1 tbsp red chilli sauce, 1 tsp vinegar, 1 tsp sugar, spring onions finely chopped.
1. Add the cauliflower florets to hot water for 2-3 minutes. Drain them.
2. Make tha batter by adding corn flour, maida, red chilli powder, pepper, salt and water in a bowl.
3. Heat oil in a deep non-stick kadai, dip each floret in batter and deep fry them on medium flame. Keep aside.
4. Now heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add ginger garlic and chillies. Saute them.
5. Then add spring onions and capsicum and saute them for a minute.
6. Add soy sauce, red chilli sauce, sugar, vinegar. Mix and add cornflour mixture. Cook on high flame for a minute.
7. Add the deep fried cauliflower florets and toss well. Cook for another minute while stirring continuously.
8. Sprinkle black pepper and spring onion greens.
Serve immediately as a snack or side dish with fried rice or noodles.
