You can prepare a mouthwatering side dish, Kakharu Saga using pumpkin leaves and ridge gourd. Pumpkin leaves are rich in vitamins and minerals like vitamin A, E, iron, calcium, potassium, while ridge gourd is a good source of carbohydrates, and fibre.

Ingredients to make Kakharu Saga:
2 cups pumpkin leaves, 1 ridge gourd, 1 tbsp mustard seeds, 2 garlic cloves, 2 red chillies, oil
Steps to make Kakharu Saga:
1. In a vessel, add finely chopped pumpkin leaves and ridge gourd. Add salt and cook till it turns tender. No need to add water as the water coming out from leaves and ridge gourd is sufficient.
2. In a pan, put one tsp oil. Add the mustard seeds. Once it splutters, add the dry red chillies and crushed garlic. Saute for a minute.
3. Add the cooked saga and ridge gourd and give a good mix.
Serve Kakharu Saga with rice.
