Khoa or mawa as we all know, is a common ingredient in many sweets. It is rich in carbohydrates and calcium, as it is made from milk. By regulating the amount of sweet in this recipe, we can make it nutritious and delicious as well. Please note that this recipe will serve 2 people
Contents
1 cup wheat flour, ½ cup mawa, 1 cup milk, 2 tbsps cream, sugar to taste, 1 tsp cardmom powder
1. Put milk in a flat bottomed pan and bring it to a boil, stirring occasionally.
2. Add in the mawa and wheat flour slowly so as to avoid any lumps. Keep stirring while you add these ingredients.
3. Add the sugar and the cardamom powder. Keep stirring it while you add the cream.
4. When the mixtures becomes thick and "toothpaste" like, turn off the burner and allow it to cool.
Spread it out on a plate and cut into sweets of your desired shape.
