You can prepare a delicious green leafy vegetable, Kuler Saag, which is a good source of minerals like iron, calcium, magnesium and potassium. This saag is a tropical saag and resembles leaves of “kachnar.” Adding badi to this dish gives protein too. You can use moong dal badi. Flavour the dish with garlic and the dish tastes awesome!

1 cup saga, 4-5 badis, ½ tsp mustard seeds, 2 green chiles, 4-5 garlic cloves, 1 tomato, 2 tsp oil
1. Wash and finely chop the saga.
2. In a pan, add the badi and fry for 3-4 minutes. Remove and crush the badis.
3. In a kadai, add oil. Once warm, add the mustard seeds. Once the seeds splutter, add the crushed garlic and green chillies. Saute for 2-3 minutes.
4. Finely chop the tomato and add them too.
5. Saute for 2-3 minutes till the tomato pieces turns soft. Finally, add the chopped saga and give a good stir.
Delicious Kuler Saag is ready. Enjoy with steamed rice.
