This recipe is worth giving a try as Macaroni Channa Chaat is a perfect fusion snack. Macaroni is a good source of thiamin, folate, selenium, while black channa is loaded with proteins.

Ingredients to make Macaroni Channa Chaat:

1 cup boiled macaroni, ½ cup boiled black channa, 1 onion finely chopped. 1 tsp. grated ginger, 2 tbsp. tomato paste, 1 tomato chopped, ½ tsp. cumin seeds, black salt to taste. 1 tsp. chopped green chilli, 1 tsp. tamarind chutney, ½ tsp. red chilli flakes, ½ tsp.cumin powder, ½ tsp. garam masala, 1 tbsp. butter, 1 tbsp. chopped cilantro, 2 tbsp. tiny cubed cucumber

Steps to make Macaroni Channa Chaat:

1. Boil the black channa with salt to taste and drain and keep aside.

2. Boil the macaroni in plenty of water and oil till it is soft. Drain out the water and add 1 tsp. butter and shake the macaroni till they are well coated with butter and do not stick with one and other.

3. Heat butter in a large pan and splutter cumin seeds and add onion and sauté for 2 seconds, combine ginger, tomato paste, green chilli, tamarind chutney, red chilli flakes, cumin powder, garam masala and mix well. Add macaroni and channa and sauté well.

Garnish with cilantro and cucumber and serve!
