Dosa contains a rich source of several minerals like iron, protein, and calcium due to the presence of rice and dals. It is quite easy to digest and can be served plain or with sambar, vegetables and chutney. This can be given for breakfast or a snack as well. Different shapes of dosa can be made to attract your child to this healthy food!

Rice, dal, onion, cucumber, oil as required
1. Soak rice and dals separately overnight.
2. Wash and drain excess water.
3. Grind all soaked ingredients together to make dosa batter.
4. On a hot tawa, grease with oil and pour a ladle of dosa batter, spread to make a round dosa.
5. Add chopped onion, tomato, and cucumber to the dosa. Cover and cook for 1 minute on low flame.
Serve hot!
