Posto Bara is a traditional Bengali cuisine, which is quite appropriate for evening snacks. The dish has a good amount of calcium and folate in it.

Ingredients to make Posto Bara:
1/4 cup poppy seeds, 2 tsp rice flour, 1 chopped onion, 2 boiled potatoes, 2 green chillies chopped, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tbsp Jeera lanka gunda(oriya spice mix), salt to taste, oil for frying
1. Wash and soak poppy seeds. Blend and make a paste out of poppy seeds.
2. In a deep bowl, mix boiled potatoes, onion, poppy seed paste, ginger garlic paste, jeera lanka guda, salt, and rice flour. Mix all and mash well.
3. Make small patties out of the mixture.
4. Heat oil in a skillet and deep fry the patties.
5. Drain the patties on absorbent paper.
Serve hot Posto Bara with a sauce.
