No matters raw or riped, mangoes are king of fruits. Dishes made from them rule the world and when it comes to sweet , sour and spicy pickles, the taste and its aroma is just breathtaking. Along with great taste comes great nutritional benefits. Mango pickles offers a good supply of essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, which contributes to diabetes control, improved digestion, liver protection, a supply of probiotics, and the ability to heal ulcers. It is one time prepared dish that can be stored for years without any spoilage. Give it a try, feel the magic of mango pickle and make any booring dish tasty.

Raw mangoes-10 medium sized, cumin powder-2 tsb, turmeric powder- ½ tsp, jaggery-½ cup, red chili powder- 1 tsb and salt-1 tsp
1. Wash, peel and cut the raw mangoes.
2. Marinate the mango pieces with turmericand salt and sun dry for 3 days.
3. Make jaggery syrup using little amount of water and mango piecies, cumin powder and red chilli powder.
Close the lid and keep it under sun for two weeks. Enjoy your mango pickle with your family.
