Prepare a popular South Indina snack item, which is equally delicious as it is healthy. Ribbon Pakoda is a variation of murukku and is served mainly as a snack.

2 cups rice flour, 1 cup besan flour, ½ cup pottukadalai powder, 1 tsp chili powder, ½ asafoetida powder, 3 tbsp butter or ghee, salt to taste, oil
1. Seive rice flour, besan in a deep bowl. Add pottukadalai powder, chilli, hing, salt, butter and mix well.
2. Add water to make a dough.
3. Pour this dough into murukku maker with ribbon press and pour into hot oil directly.
4. Fry till it becomes crispy.
Cool and serve.
